If a company other than Cyndra contacted you. Cyndra Talent is also used by other companies and recruiters to find engineers for roles they are recruiting for. Their emails name the company that sent them; that company chose to contact you and decides how it uses your information. To stop their contact, reply "unsubscribe" or write to the address in their email. You can also write to privacy@cyndra.ai.

[LEGAL] The notice below describes Cyndra's own hiring. Each party's role (controller or processor) for searches run by other companies, and the matching notice text, are pending counsel review.

Privacy notice — Cyndra talent sourcing

Who we are. Cyndra ("we") operates an internal tool that helps our recruiters find software engineers for roles at Cyndra. Contact: privacy@cyndra.ai.

What we process and where it comes from. Information you have made public on GitHub: your username, display name, profile location and company, public repositories and their metadata, and — when a recruiter opens your profile or selects you for a role we are actively hiring for — an email address taken from your public GitHub profile, README, or commit metadata. We never collect private data, and we do not buy or sell contact lists.

Why (legal basis). Our legitimate interest in recruiting for our own open roles. We only contact people whose public work is relevant to a specific role. A recruiter who personally selected you may send you up to three short emails from their own mailbox over about a week; we stop at your first reply, and replying "unsubscribe" ends all contact permanently. You can also object at any time via privacy@cyndra.ai.

Retention. Discovery data is kept for 7 days. If you are shortlisted, your profile and any contact route are kept for up to 6 months from the last recruiter action, then deleted. If we have not contacted you within 30 days of shortlisting, your contact details are deleted automatically.

Your rights. You can ask us at any time to: tell you what we hold about you (access), correct it, delete it (erasure), or stop contacting you (objection). Email privacy@cyndra.ai from any address; we will honour objections permanently and confirm within 30 days. We do not make automated decisions about you.

Sharing. Cyndra employees and Cyndra's AI assistants may process this information only for Cyndra's own direct-hire recruiting. Those assistants act for our team under the same purpose and controls; they may not use it for agencies, job boards or resale. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties, except a code-quality assessment service (OpenAI) which receives pseudonymised, de-identified code samples — never your name, username, or contact details — and Google, which processes recruiting emails as our mail provider because each message is sent from the recruiter's own Google Workspace mailbox.

Egypt. For candidates in Egypt, this processing is also subject to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. The rights above apply in full.

مدة الاحتفاظ. تُحفظ بيانات الاكتشاف لمدة 7 أيام. إذا أُدرجت في قائمة مختصرة، يُحتفظ بملفك وأي وسيلة اتصال لمدة تصل إلى 6 أشهر من آخر إجراء للتوظيف ثم تُحذف. إذا لم نتواصل معك خلال 30 يومًا من الإدراج، تُحذف بيانات الاتصال تلقائيًا.

حقوقك. يمكنك في أي وقت أن تطلب منا: إخبارك بما نحتفظ به عنك (الوصول)، أو تصحيحه، أو حذفه (المحو)، أو التوقف عن التواصل معك (الاعتراض). راسلنا على privacy@cyndra.ai من أي عنوان؛ سنحترم الاعتراضات بشكل دائم ونؤكد خلال 30 يومًا. لا نتخذ قرارات آلية بشأنك.

المشاركة. لا يجوز لموظفي Cyndra ومساعدي الذكاء الاصطناعي التابعين لها معالجة هذه المعلومات إلا لأغراض التوظيف المباشر الخاص بـ Cyndra، وتحت الغرض والضوابط نفسها؛ ولا يجوز استخدامها لوكالات التوظيف أو منصات الوظائف أو إعادة البيع. ولا نشارك بياناتك مع أطراف ثالثة بخلاف خدمة تقييم جودة الكود (OpenAI) التي تتلقى عينات كود مجهولة الهوية — وليس اسمك أو اسم المستخدم أو بيانات الاتصال أبدًا — وشركة Google التي تعالج رسائل التوظيف بوصفها مزوّد البريد لدينا، لأن كل رسالة تُرسل من صندوق بريد Google Workspace الخاص بموظف التوظيف نفسه.

مصر. بالنسبة للمرشحين في مصر، تخضع هذه المعالجة أيضًا لقانون حماية البيانات الشخصية رقم 151 لسنة 2020. وتنطبق الحقوق المذكورة أعلاه بالكامل.
